Traditional Classical Guitar
My traditional classic guitars are based primarily on the work of Antonio de Torres, Hermann Hauser and Jeffrey Elliott. I strive for a guitar that has the power, clarity, openness, and separation to fill a concert hall, but that also has a beautiful voice that will make you not want to put it down. These guitars are clear and projecting without being boomy and have great sustain and overtones.
Includes Gotoh Premium tuners or equivalent, Indian Rosewood or Maple back and sides, select Spruce or Cedar top, Rosewood or Maple bindings, handmade rosette, 100% French polish finish. Other Rosewood varieties available on request.
Tuner upgrades also available on all models.
Base price - $5,000
Double Top Classical Guitar
The term “double top” is used to refer to any guitar that has a composite soundboard, usually with inner and outer skins of normal top wood like Spruce or Cedar, and an inner core of a different material that confers a functional advantage over wood alone. I have chosen to use Nomex as that inner core, due to its exceptional lightness and strength. I use the exact same bracing and similar top thickness as my traditional classical model, which gives my double top guitars a more traditional tone and greater longevity than some others on the market. The advantage is markedly increased volume, sustain, and sensitivity to touch, making these guitars incredibly powerful concert instruments.
Base price - $6,000
Flamenca Blanca
These are my traditional Flamenco instruments, built with Spruce or Cedar tops. They are crisp, bright and very percussive. I try to retain all the growl and bite of a traditional blanca, along with a lot of volume and a range of dynamics and tone. These guitars are excellent for dance accompaniment. Spanish cypress is my back and side wood of choice and I will use one of my best Spruce or Cedar tops.
Includes Gotoh or Rubner tuners, Spanish cypress, select Spruce or Cedar top, Indian Rosewood bindings, handmade rosette, 100% French polish finish.
Base price - $4,500
"2A" Blanca
My 2A blanca is a fantastic player's guitar on a budget. I can save a lot of time with a premade rosette (of your choice), and unfancy purflings and tie block inlay. These guitars feature woods that are all graded as "Premium" by the supplier, but I don't use my very favorite tops or back and side sets. The guitar still recieves my full attention to fine-tuning and a French polish finish. Wooden pegs or machine tuners can be used.
Price - $3,800
Flamenca Negra
A soloist's instrument. My Rosewood Flamenco guitars have all the richness, power, complexity and sustain required for a professional concert performance or studio recording. However, the character of the guitar is still very Flamenco, with a deep, earthy bass and punchy midrange.
Includes Gotoh or Rubner tuners, Indian or other Rosewood, select Spruce or Cedar top, Indian Rosewood bindings, handmade rosette, 100% French polish finish.
Base price - $4,600
